The Santa Clara Dog Training Club is an American Kennel Club member club that has actively been conducting training classes in San Jose and the South Bay for over 50 years. We offer a variety of classes taught by highly qualified trainers that are suited for dog owners interested in having well behaved pets or in competition. A portion of our class fees go to support working dogs in our community.

The SCDTC:
- Promotes responsible dog ownership
- Conducts dog training classes for purebred and mixed breed dogs and their handlers
- Encourages the training of judges and ring stewards
- Holds and supports obedience, rally, and agility trials and matches
- Holds and supports tracking tests and matches
- Promotes cooperation and good sportsmanship among its members in the training and exhibiting of dogs
