AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy
SCDTC offers the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy through at least 6 weeks of attendance in either our Puppy or Beginner Obedience classes.
Your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end of the course. Puppies can earn this title up to their first birthday.

AKC Canine Good Citizen
AKC Canine Good Citizen is intended to reward responsible pet ownership and good dog manners.
Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that evaluates your dog's good manners and responsible dog ownership of their owners. There are no age minimums or limits for participating in the AKC Canine Good Citizen.

AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen
AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) is an advanced level for those who have already earned an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC). AKC Urban CGC is a public access test that demonstrates dogs are well-behaved and well-trained in a setting that includes traffic, crowds, noises, smells and other distractions that are present in a city. The 10-step AKC Urban Canine test is conducted in real life situations.

AKC Trick Dog
AKC Trick Dog program is a fun and rewarding way to earn official titles with your dog while building a stronger bond through training. Trick training is enjoyable for both dogs and their handlers, join our Trick Dog training class taught by our experienced trainer.
There are five AKC Trick Dog titles you and your dog can work toward from AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN) to AKC Trick Dog Elite Performer (TKE)
While dogs may begin training for trick titles as puppies, the earliest an AKC Trick Dog title will be awarded is at the age of 4 months.

AKC Fit Dog
AKC Fit Dog program promotes fitness that is important for your dogs and SCDTC is an AKC Fit Dog club. Fit training is enjoyable for both dogs and their handlers, join our Fit Dog training class taught by our experienced trainer.
There are 3 levels of AKC fitness titles—Bronze (FITB), Silver (FITS), and Gold (FITG). Each title requires a specific number of activity points to be completed, which varies based on title level.
